I had 2500+M /w NF7-S v2 few months ago, but I sold it off and switched to P4 setup.
I need a 2nd computer so I decided to go budget, AMD barton, I deciding if I should buy NF7-S v2 again or try something else this time... DFI Infinity Ultra looks good, same price, more features thand NF7-S i think.. what do you guys think? OC/Stable/features?

Both boards are probably the top 2 choices in the NF2 ultra range,to be honest you can`t go wrong with either,I do own a DFI Infinity Ultra board and can`t praise it enough, easy to setup ,nice onboard sound quality, rock stable, plenty of features and also designed for overclocking,in the end you just have to pick one between the two 😉.

I'm running a mobile XP Barton on a NF7-S R2 and it is one sweet system. This'll tide me over until NF4 is a reality.

If you have experience with the NF7-S I'd recommend you go that route. It will save you time and frustration if you need to debug any problems (no learning curve).

amd64 2800+ and cheap nf3-250 board would cost about as much and would be faster. I had the dfi UI with a 35w mobile at 2.5ghz for a while, it performed well but I had a lot of problems with the bios chip. Also, my cpu socket was warped forcing an RMA.

i've an NF7-S and am very happy. Have heard good things and the DFI. I think I heard one of the top engineers working on the NF7 went to DFI, cuz he wanted to do more with OC feratures than Abit would let him.

Might wanna PM oldman420, a nice guy, he has had both. He could give his experience with both. I think he told me the DFI can reach a higher FSB speed, while the NF7-S allowed him to acheive higher cpu OC's IIRC.
