NF7-S Memory Problems

All about banks I guess. I run Winbond BH-5 chips from Kingston (valueR and HyperX). When I run 2x256 I can get to 218-220 on NF7-S at tight timings like 2-2-2-6. But when I try to use 2x512 there is no way I can pass Prime95 anywhere higher than 200 using 2-2-2-6.
Now one would think this memory might be worse. But it isn't! I used the same memory in Intel Springdale with about the same results, both 2x256 and 2x512 go up to 220 on tight timings. I know that Intel boards are a hell of a lot better in handling all types of memory than NF2 boards but this is weird. One would think that NF2 has solved this problem but it seems it didn't.

Try relaxing the T(RAS) setting from 6 to 11 and see what you get. I've tested my system extensively and setting T(RAS) to 11 gives me the best speed and stability. All the other settings are at 2 btw.

I did that and no help. I'd like to disable "command per clock" which was a trick that worked on Springdale IS7 but NF7-S does not have that tweaking option.
Now I am running Barton 2500 on 2.352 GHz at 1.8V, passing prime but for that I have to use 2x256 which sucks.

alot of nf2 motherboards have difficulty running 2x512 in dual channel at higher fsb's. the memory controller can't handle it or something like that....try running them in single channel and see how high you can get them.
