NF7-S died Where is the serial #?

I tried doing an online RMA for my board, it's just a few months old, but the online site tells me the serial number I entered is invalid. Without that they will not RMA my board for free. Am I missing something? Where is the serial # for this board supposed to be? The only one I see is on a white sticker located to the right of the PCI slots. There are of course MAC address stickers on the board as well, but only one serial # number sticker. Thoughts? Ideas???

It should be on the retail box oddly enough. I seem to remember reading something to the effect that it is on the box but the board only has it if you scan the "sku" looking sticker on it.

I can't remember what manufacturers were doing that or where I read it.

It should be on the retail box, but there may be a sticker on the back of the board as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the serial # sticker. I did some digging around in my attic lst night and found the box. Good thing I had stored an old MB in it and saved the box. Now...why in the hell would they only put the serial # on the box....seems stupid to me. Most people would not save the box.

It is a bit stupid. No pun intended. I only kept my ABIT NF7-S Rev 2.0 box because i didnt use everything that came with the board and it acts as a nice holder for the stuff i might use but probably never will.
