NF7-S: Continuous beeps (no POST) after lowering ONE memory timing?!

In CMOS setup I changed my memory timings from 2.5-3-3-11 to 2.5-3-2-11 and when I saved and restarted I got continuous beeps with no POST. So I restarted and held down the ctrl key to get back into the BIOS to change my settings.
I tried again with a little more memory voltage and I get the same thing.

But why does that happen just from lowering one timing? Is this normal? Does this mean I will forever be stuck on 2.5-3-3-11 ?

Setup:
Currently running dual channel 2x512mb (one stick Kingston, one Corsair)
PC3200
VDIMM: 2.75V
FSB: 202Mhz

When I just had my kingston in (512mb) I had it at 2-2-2-11 at 2.9V. I know this Corsair ValueSelect wont do those timings so I'm running both at 2.5-3-3-11. But I should be able to at least POST with a lower timing.
Any help would be great.

That didn't really help me at all... Has someone actually experienced this problem?

Yes, I had the same exact problem. I have 2 x 512MB Corsair Value Select C2.5, one older and one relatively new. I tried to lower my timings from 2.5-3-3-11 to 2.5-2-2-11 and I got the same thing. I then tried lowering them one at a time, no difference. 2.5-3-3-11 is as fast as it will go in my system.

The oddest problem I have is when I up my system from 2200 to 2300MHz by multiplier. My memory read bandwidth as reported by AIDA32 goes down by 300 points while the write bandwidth goes up by 150 points. Now that's a stumper to me.

I had that happen also. Everything would be fine at one setting, memtest might fail if I lowered one timing, and the computer wouldn't start if I lowered another.
