usually people get higher fsb when you disable cpu interface, but when i disable cpu interface, my fsb limit is way lower.. i can't even get to 215 fsb when it's disabled. When it's enabled, i can get to 223 or so.. I was wondering why this is so. Also, is 223 fsb about the limit on the average nf7-s motherboards??

thanks

Yeah, these newer NF7s behave strangely, to say the least. I just tried what you suggested. I had been testing my NF7-S v2 with CPU interface disabled to find my highest fsb, and it was around 208, now enabled it runs stable at 215 2.5-3-2-11... this is with chipset voltage set to 1.5 and mem voltage set to 2.6 (running Buffalo CH-5)... and it won't run any higher with more voltage on either, so it seems to be a board limitation. It's not the ram, since I had a v1.2 board, volt modded to 1.9v chipset, running at 225 easily. These are Prime95 stable. Maybe I should lower voltage one more notch on the chipset to see if it'll run faster.
