Under Prime, I got 46C from SpeedFan. That sounds pretty high to me, and I'd like to make it run cooler. My CPU gives 51C with the 7700-cu @1000rpm on it.
I had to reseat the cpu HSF a day ago, and I think that it runs now a degree or two higher than it used to. Is this kind of behaviour normal? If I remember correctly, these were the temps before HSF reseat : idle :37-39C load: 44-45C, now I'm idling at 41C with a reseated HSF.
Back to the topic, my NV Silencer 5 fan casing is sitting damn close to the chipset HSF (that fan @ ~7800rpm), so I dunno what could be done. Suggestions?
