NF3 Ultra Recommendations

I have not been following the reviews at all for a long time. I currently have an NF2 Ultra system with a 2400Mhz AthlonXP & 768MB of Corsair XMS3500 ram (3x256).

I'm considering jumping to an A64 system. I'll go the NF3 route since I have a nice 6800GT 256MB card that I got for $270. I'd like to overclock my next system but I don't really want one with a ton of fans on the motherboard if I can avoid it (I prefer the reliability of passive cooling, at least for my chipset). What's a good NF3 Ultra board to get that will let me do a little clockin' as well?

I see Newegg doesn't handle motherboard RMAs anymore...so where's a good place to buy your recommended board as well?

Let's see. A little overclocking, good stability, and I'll assume socket 939 for the oncpu memory controller----MSI Neo 2 Platinum. And Newegg or ZZF are choice for online etailers. 😉

Kind of the conclusion I have come to in my research as well. Guess I'll give MSI a try...never bought one of their motherboards before...

I'm really having a good time with my Gigabyte K8NS Ultra.

I't had some issues when it first came out but the ultras with the dual bios have been very stable at some really high o/clocks

i reccomend chaintech VNF4 + a64 3000+, make sure you have a pci-e card though w/ that board
