Neo Plat.mobo , A64 3200 CLAWHAMMER C0 rev, 3700 BH-5 2 x256

No matter what settings I try I cannot get 1:1 memory speeds
other than that board runs great

I get
240 FSB = 200 mem. speed
225 FSB = 187 mem. speed
200 FSB = 166 mem. speed
verified this in BIOS and CPUZ

yes "max mem speed" is set to 200
HT 3x or 4X makes no diff.

I tried 1.3 BIOS and 1.42, no help

I DO NOT have the 1T command option in the BIOS, WHY?
from the CO chip or?

could it be the memory controller of the CPU itself?!

Any ideas?

Are you saying you can't get 1:1 when you set it to 200mhz in the BIOS or are you saying that you can't overclock to 230+ 1:1?

Well, it's definitely something to do with your motherboard then. Check out the MSI forums or google, that board has been nothing but problems for most people who've owned it.

Which slots are you using for your two sticks of 256mb? Look at page 2-8 of your manual.

I've got two 512mb sticks in slots 1 and 3 with no probs.
