nexus9, Do you intend to continue with your stats page for the forseeable future? If so, I am thinking of running my machines for Team Anand Tech. Your stats page would be great with a cup of coffee in the morning.🙂
Am currently running six p2 and p3 machines for a small group and there are no stats and little information exchange........

Don't wait one more minute !

You guys really know how to make a fellow feel welcome! 🙂 🙂 Glad to be here.
I have a question though, I have tried a couple of times to get a cache utility to work for me and I have had no luck yet. (Generally get some error) I havn't tried recently, maybe something new is around that may work for me. Am running win 98 with the gui v2.4 on the p2's and gui v2.7 on the p3 machines. Four of these machines are on a home lan. Anyone have an idea what would work well?

Welcome! 🙂

If you want an easy cacheing program, and don't mind giving up the graphics of the GUI, you could try the WinNT command line client and SetiDriver. If you really want the GUI, you'll probably need SetiQ. We have a pretty good SetiQ setup FAQ to help get you started. And you'd only need one SetiQ for the whole LAN. 🙂

I second the vote for setiQ. Check out the links and FAQ on it in the above messege. I have it on both of my machines and it really helps keep em working until i can connect with my dialup. Since some of those computers are on a home lan you would only have to run it on a single machine and point all the others to it's ip. SetiQ also has a log, so it may help you keep track of how much work each is doing.

oh and WELCOME TO THE TEAM!!!🙂

Had no real use for the gui version, never run the screen saver anyway. D/L Seti Driver and it seems to be doing fine. I set it up for a ten work unit cache (about a two day supply) and the WinNt client went to work just fine. Will seti driver usually D/L more work when it runs low or will I need to hit the transmit tab?

Just re-read the thread... Thanks again to nexus9!!! I check your stats page daily. Great of you to provide it for the team!!!
