Are the stats tracked by my "name" or is there something else used? I may change my name to add a tagline to it and I'm wondering if that'll mess up the stats.

Yeah, I track by name. Basically, I just download the official seti@home web page once a day and stuff the results into a database. The I compare the same username on different dates to get the results. If you change your seti name, it'll break your long-term history. Of course, since it's in a database I can manually run some SQL to update your username 🙂
