Yes. This date has been rumored for a long while now, while just recently becoming officially rumored.

As long as it is reasonably priced, I'll be picking it up that day.

Hope Google fixes the issue with the inability to control LED notifications. Having separate colors for different events is super handy on my Droid.

Other than that, I liked the Nexus One when I had it and I only got rid of it due to T-Mo's weaksauce network. :awe:

It will be sold by google only, which could complicate any phone upgrades you have with verizon. (only works if you're renewing a plan, so those on family plans may have problems)

I would be new to Verizon, and would need to port to a family plan. Anyone know how that would work? Would I have the lines ported first?

You'll be able to sign up for a Verzion account through Google most likely. If they don't offer family plans, you can have verizon convert it to one afterwards.
