What's a digitizer?
Maybe you just have a lemon? Why not put Google's warranty to the test and get a brand new replacement? This is the WORST phone I've used in years, the digitizer is a cheap piece of crap,, seems it's a years old unit, and loses it's calibration frequently, we're talking 4 hard resets today...
The $15 data plan is unlimited, but it is only for feature phones. What I'm wondering is if I can just upgrade my plan to unlimited 3G on my current phone for $15, then stick my sim card into the N1. I'm wondering if ATT will notice the switch and then charge me extra.
What do you mean you don't understand the point? Its got a bit better hardware, and Sense, which the vast majority of people consider superior to stock Android.
Its a better Nexus One that's actually sold in Verizon's stores and might get worthwhile advertising. Assuming VZW gets both, I foresee the Incredible absolutely dominating the Nexus One in sales.
Link? I just looked at XDA and couldn't find the threads you are talking about.have you guyslooked at thesupport forums?
I've had the phone for a month now and used it every day. I've never had a hard reset, touch screen issues, or any of the issues of which you speak. Maybe you just have a defective phone? Maybe a significant percent of them being released are defective, but I don't think it's accurate to believe every one of them has these problems. I paid a ton of money for this thing. If it wasn't virtually perfect, I would be pissed.
T-Mobile gives you a $20 discount if you aren't on a subsidized contract. I've been considering ending my ATT contract and getting the T-Mobile N1 unsubsidized to take advantage of the cheaper plan. Are you sure you aren't already on the "correct" plan?
AFAIK ATT doesn't have the same discount for off contract phones, which is why I'm wary of getting the ATT N1.
I'm torn. I could get the nexus one for AT&T and have known good coverage (I have used AT&T for a long time now and it works great in my area) or I could get it for T-mobile and not know how good the coverage is, but get a good discount on my monthly bill.
Decisions, decisions.
If you're in an area that gets good T-Mobile coverage, T-Mobile is the hands down best choice.
Get the N1 on T-Mobile. If coverage is good in your area keep it, if coverage is bad in your area, send it back. No company has better rates on plans than T-Mobile. They also have double the data cap size of Verizon and AT&T(10GB vs 5GB). T-Mobile also lets you make calls and use data at the same time, can't do that on Verizon. Current 3G phones including the Nexus One will work with T-Mobile's next gen "4G" network when it is deployed as well. No other company is going to have that kind of compatibility.
Correct answer is C: Get the Nexus One on Verizon.

Correct answer is C: Get the Nexus One on Verizon.
Option D: Get the Nexus One on AT&T.
