I've got a Nexus 7 (with stock OS) and have noticed a few things I'd like to sort out.
First, on the Nexus 7 the keyboard is a bit odd. I've managed to set up the full on 4 row PC keyboard as well as the standard one, but sometimes it the auto-correct/word prediction bar is present, and sometimes it isn't. For example in chrome typing in the omnibox has no autocorrect, nor does it add an auto space after you slide a word. This annoys me as I type searches far more than I directly type URLs.
Second, with the standard keyboard sometimes there are emoticons available via a button in the bottom right, and sometimes there are not. I can't work out a pattern for this as it seems unconnected to whether the word prediction bar is present. I've also noticed this on my Nexus 4 when in text messages the emoticon button is present, but for facebook status' its replaced with an enter (carriage return) button.
Lastly and leastly on the phone at least sometimes a long press on the top row will provide numbers, and sometimes it does not. Can't say I've noticed yet with the tablet but I think something similar happens.
The inconsistency is annoying more than anything else. I also didn't think I'd say it but there seems to be a lack of options in Android to sort this.
