Nexus 7 Battery Issue

So glad I can Google effectively. Apparently the Nexus 7 Battery is smaller than the compartment housing it. Bought one brand new today and had to call it open immediately because the battery connector was loose.

Connected it and then filled the gap with some cardboard backing from a spiral bound notebook. Seems is a common problem :-\

No, I bought it yesterday from Staples. It's a manufacturing issue.

The battery is physically smaller than the compartment that it sits in. Because of that if you jostle the Nexus wrong the connector that runs from battery to mobo gets wiggled loose. I had to open the case within an hour of buying it and fix this.

Just complaining about the ridiculousness of having to do so on a brand new product
