I think I made a huge mistake in spending money for this tablet. Horrible touch response! I called customer support and they had me revert to factory setting which did not fix this problem. I asked if this was a known problem and was told no it was just me. Looked at several other review sites and it seems that it is not just my device. Anybody else got a way to fix this before I go back to Apple and shit can this thing?
 
Had the same issue and returned it asap.I heard a firmware update was coming, but god knows how long it will take.I was perfectly happy with my Ipad but wanted to give it a go after seeing the buzz.Looks like a luck of the draw though, some of my friends are running it fine.
 
Jay - I did return the first one within the 2 week period allowed by BestBuy. The 2nd one seemed ok at first and now not so much. I was asked it I dropped it. No I did not drop it and I am the only one in my household and the only one that uses it. I sounded like that wanted to find a way to blame me for the malfunction.

It seems that the touch screen is not calibrated correctly either. When I touch something I often have to touch i to the right of what I want in order for it to recognize the touch. Sometimes that doesn't work either.
 
Yeah the touch is very finicky.Looks like crap QC from both ASUS and Google.Did you receive any updated firmware?
