Nexus 6 and Bluetooth on a 2013 Mini 'S'

Tried to pair my N6 to my 2013 Mini radio. They each 'saw' each other, then a screen came up asking for the PIN number, which is usually, from what I understand, '0000' or '1234'... neither one worked.

Ideas?

Been there...

Was not asking for a PIN but a created PW that the previous owner of the car had created. Turns out he had the same exact phone that I had...sheesh. This morning, I cleared out his settings and entered mine.

Why it said "PIN" and not 'password', I have no idea. Ipso presto... now working...
