Nexus 1 vs. Vibrant vs. Milestone vs. other?

I'm trying to decide which smartphone to get. One of the main things I would like is good media capabilities, preferably with the ability to connect to the TV through HDMI.

The Milestone XT720 seemed like the perfect choice, but then I heard that Motorola is not that good with updates.

Any recommendations?

On t-mobile I would go with the vibrant (this can be purchased for below $60 at various places). On verizon I would consider Driod X or (if you must have a key board - which I can't stand) droid 2; the incredible is nice but lousy outside and stock battery life is limited.
On sprint I would go with evo and at&t I would not consider.

Samsung has a special usb->hdmi cable that is said to work with the epic. I presume this cable works with the vibrant but you should contact them (or perhaps t-moble).

I do not know much about the milestone. One thing to consider is the G2 which will be T-mobile first hpsa+ phone. I think I read it would be available in Oct.
