nextel & webjal problems

i posted this over on HoFo too... but this forum is WAY more active and figured i'd prob get a responce here faster

i have webjal installed and running no problem and it can connect to my i530 via usb (win2kpro) w/out a problem

when i try to load a wav or midi file though, it goes thru the steps to download them to the phone and at the last second i get a general communications error message.

i have downloaded several wav and midi files from differant sources hoping it was just a corrupt file, but it seems to b more then that

i also searched the forums here and couldnt find an answer to my problem

any help would be greatly appreciated as i cannot deal w/ the stock ringtones any longer!
 
Throw your USB cable out the door and pick up a serial. It's slower, yes, but it's much more reliable than the USB. The USB sucks. I also suggest checking out www.ideninsider.com and posting your question on their forum as well as HoFo.
