nextel users: are you happy with your phone?

i've been with AT&T for the past 7 or so years, but i think i'd like the two-way feature of Nextel and considering switching. How does their two-way service rate? And their standard-phone service too...is it worth switching? I get coverage EVERYWHERE with my phone/service and love it, but alas, no two-way.

It's decent if you live in an area with good coverage...i have a brand new (used it for a month) i730 if you're interested in it. I moved and had to switch to Sprint

yes, i have had Nextel for 4-5 years now and have never had a problem. I wish they were cheaper, spending 100 bucks a month for a phone for me and my wife sucks.

that's my only gripe...my $40 plan with AT&T looks to be around $60 with Nextel.

I'm in Philly, one would assume the coverage would be decent for a large city such as Philadelphia.
I had a nextel phone for a year and it sucked. Everytime I tried to call someone who had a nextel phone i would get the annoying message ... "please hold while we locate the nextel subscriber"

Then there was time I would be outside my house and I would receive no signal!!!!
The two way thing is annoying. It would work the first few minutes and then "BEEEEP" i had to reconnect with the other user!!!

I'm with verizon and am very happy.
