What would it take for Microsoft to announce that would guarantee them YOUR purchase of the console? Specs, games, features? All of them?

I'm just looking for a DECENT configuration (the rumored one would likely suffice), and at least one major must have release game. I'm pretty lenient, but I've like the 360 more than all the other consoles this past gen.

You?

I WILL get it or the PS4, so I would be looking at performance and price. Exclusives don't interest me that much.

I have a 360 so probably am leaning 55-60% toward the 720 over the PS4 mostly out of habit. The heated debates over which is better (360 or ps3) more than anything point to how similar they are and I expect these to be similar.

I am interested for sure to see if MS can match Sony's promises about PS4 specs.

This is direct evidence that I'm getting old. I just don't care anymore. I mean I like to play video games, but I just don't get excited like I used to about upcoming systems. I guess my 360 and PC are 'good enough', I just don't want more online features and better graphics really don't do much for me.

I don't know, I guess I'm getting too old...

honestly, nothing.

after the red ring of death, I'd probably never buy a console system at launch again... I'll wait till the hardware bugs have been worked out and buy it after a year or so assuming the studios are developing games I'd want to play (RPG's, strategy/puzzle games)

Because the 360 didn't have THE BEST RPG this gen. Lost Odyssey was better than any RPG released on the PS3. With the exception of Demon's Souls / Dark Souls, but those aren't traditional RPGs.

LO was amazing... but kinda screwed me over. 🙁

Disk 4 was broken on mine (and, judging by Amazon reviews, many others), but by the time I discovered it, it was way too late to take it back.
