Ok this is a true story. Last year when I refinanced my mortgage my lending company contacted me with some odd/somewhat disturbing news. Evidently, my full name (first middle and last) is associated with a known Columbian drug lord. This is according to a little footnote thingy that was placed on my credit reports. I never ever heard of such a thing, and at the time, we were all just laughing about it.

Well, should I worry now that I plan on traveling across the US? I never travel, I guess I just don't know what to expect with the way airport security is these days.

It isn't such a big deal...right?

😱

if it is in your credit report, it is in your FBI file. get ready to spend your whole weekend at the airport's interrogation room. 😉

Okay, I *MUST* know, what's your full name? And druglords are not hijackers, so they won't be terribly concerned anyway. Now if you were LEAVING the country, that would be another matter.

HAHAHA no way man, you all have to buy me dinner first!

lets just say it is something really spanish, and really generic like

Roberto Domingo Ramirez..

at any rate, maybe I should pack my birth certificate too 🙁
