Next version of Office?

Nocturnal

Lifer
Anyone know what it is code named and when it is coming out? Will it come out with Longhorn? Also, as I understand, Access will not be included with the next version of Office. Supposedly they're re-doing the DBMS.

Anyone have any good websites that has some info?

Wow, no Access with any version of Office? Business users pay $400-500 per license for a professional or premium version of Office. They better drop the price considerably for them if they're going to start milking it for money.

Without researching I would guess it will come out 6 months to 1 year after Longhorn ships. My guess would be 2006.

No, I'm certain they're going to make a new program which is probably ten times better than Access as a whole which will be included in the suite.
