NeXT Step OS Problems

I have a NeXT Step system. Those machines that Steve Jobs' company made a decade ago. I recently decided try to use it after having it gather dust for 5 years. When I would boot it would stop at the "Loading Network..." or "Loading TCP/IP..." stage. I can't get into the OS. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this or just reformat the computer. I don't have any of the boot disks or OS disks anymore either. I have all the proprietary NeXT components.
