Which team would you expect to be better next season??

i'm watching Bulls vs Knicks right now and the bulls have a pretty good team. Rose is decent. Chandler and Curry have potential to be better than Decent. J. Williams is GOOD pg.

Me, i'd take Bulls over wizards next season no doubt. anyone else have an opinion??

poll also included.

<-- Knicks fan

Don't judge a team against how they play vs. the Knicks. My poor team... man they suck now.

bulls... becuz after the wizards lose jordan... they'll be a joke once again. the bulls have a nice young nucleus of players that should at least keep them at .500

Haha I might as well say that the Yanks will more Soriano to the outfield to sign Tejada.

Hey, come on, the Wizards are awesome! j/k

Actually, one of my early memories of the Bullets was Duckworth being suspended because he was overweight...😱

wait..you have 30 posts/day?! geez!!! planning to overthrow Rossman?

This is easy... Bulls because their young players are getting PT the same cannot be said for the Wizards. So unless Kwame Brown turns into Jermaine O'Neal next season and posts 18 and 10 Bulls all the way.

nah, check out hopper. he's got 34 posts/day and that's over a 6 month period.

Bulls.

The Wizards' young guys didn't get a chance to develop w/ Jordan playing all those minutes. The Bulls sucked real bad in the beginning, but some of their players are starting to step it up, like Crawford and Chandler.

Jay Williams has looked pretty bad so far IMO. I really liked him coming out of Duke, even despite his height, but now he looks like a possible wasted pick. Crawford is better right now, and I think he may end up having the better career. I hope Krause doesn't trade him, because that move would definitely come back to bite the Bulls.

Curry and Chandler look like they'll be a great tandem. I don't know that Chandler will ever be a major scorer, but he has been a rebounding machine since the All-Star break so hopefully that's a sign of things to come. I've been hyping Curry as a physical beast ever since he was drafted, and taken a lot of ribbing from my buddies for it, so it's nice to finally get some vindication. He should be able to easily dominate the pathetic collection of centers in the East.

I think the Bulls should be able to take a shot at .500 next season...nothing special, but a helluva lot better than the past few years. That really depends on their ability to get over whatever issues they have with playing on the road. Seriously, how can you win nearly 70% of home games but less than 10% on the road? 😕

No comment on the Wizards. 😛

Well playing point guard in the triangle offense is a tremedous task. Crawford wasn't too good either; blew out his knee his first season. So he had a year to absorb some of the nuances of it. His second season wasn't that much better than Jay's season. This season his third he is definitely playing better.

Jay williams has had GREAT games and bad games. He is capable of playing on an NBA level, the only real question is him getting in an offense that will work for him. they are having a hard time deciding between williams and crawford at PG. oh what a dilemma to have. I would love to see the bulls trade either crawford or Williams to the hawks for one of their more experienced players. 🙂

It's true that Williams has been playing much better since the Bulls began to play more standard pick and roll offense. Since then he's had a number of games with ~8-10 assists in just 20-25 minutes of work. If he gets his shot back he could challenge Crawford, but right now his stroke is way way off...consistently under 40% throughout the entire year. Could be related to those nagging injuries he's been having, maybe combined with mental problems like frustration over all this losing.

I like to see both Crawford and Williams on the floor together (though the Bulls rarely do it, for obvious reasons) in a line-up like this:

Curry
Chandler
Rose
Crawford
Williams

**HORRIBLE** defense, but great fun to watch on offense. 😀

I can't believe some people had Williams rated above Yao prior to the draft. Both times I have seen Williams he looked absolutely terrible. What were the strong points people rated him on coming out of college? He just doesn't seem to have the skills right now.
