When Nvidia bought the leftover rights to 3Dfx they had something planned. The didn't do it just to help out. I am hoping the next product will incorporate 3Dfx technology. Nvidia has awesome video cards, but there were some aspects where they still haven't reached 3Dfx levels. It would be a match made in heaven, something ATi or anybody else couldn't even hope to compete with.
I've been hearing that the secound T&L engine thats used in the X-Box was first thought up over at 3DFx. It's funny how 3DFx always try'd to doubble things, like there dual processor boards, SLI and such. It would be neat to see 3DFx have one last innovation to the 3D industry.
