Next LEGO Games? Harry Potter and Indiana Jones: Crystal Skull

GI.biz - Traveller's Tales is working on two more LEGO games. Harry Potter and Indiana Jones 2: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

There's plenty of material to work with in for Harry Potter but I've got to scratch my head at a Crystal Skull version of Indiana Jones. Aside from being the worst movie in the franchise, there's not alot of content there. The first Indiana Jones game stretched (and I mean stretched in some parts) across three films and still felt relatively short. I don't know how much they are going to get out of one film unless they add some original content as well.

Whatever they do, I hope they clean up the gameplay. The LEGO games have grown stale because the gameplay hasn't progressed much at all and still share many of the same problems and bugs as the original Star Wars LEGO games.

Harry potter could be a fun game. I think you're right about Indy, it's probably going to a complete Indy Saga like game.

I couldn't believe that Indy 4 wasn't in the first release as it was put out just as the movie hit IIRC. That being said it makes total sense that they wanted to milk it some more. I'm sure it will be a "complete" saga thing. It would have to be.

Potter will certainly be cool. Man I wish they still made Potter legos. My son was too yougn when those were out and now loves (LOVES Legos) and is totally into Harry too. Sadly they still catch serious coin on ebay.

I'm sure I'll ....er... my son... will be playing these 🙂


Edit: All that being said, maybe its just because its Star Wars, but the Original Trilogy release is still simply the best. Indy was "meh" and Batman was pretty bad IMO.

This is starting to resemble the Dynasty Warriors series. Same game, new skin (which, at least, is more than can be said of DW).

Maybe the new Indy game will have the good guy / bad guy option like Batman did. I think Indy4 will translate pretty well as a video game. It certainly looked more like a video game than a movie.

Don't be ashamed. I've been playing lego batman on my PC since my 360 broke. It's a solid game for all ages. Definitely enjoy them making up their own 'story' with Batman though, as it's not just corny remakes of scenes I already know.
