NexT Generation of Computers.

woah, weird.

I like pushing buttons tho... 🙁

On the bright side, it might help cut down wrist/hand and arm problems associated with typing.

Why even bother with the keyboard? Touch typing (like I am doing to make this post) occurs with my eyes trained on the screen, not the keyboard. With a keyboard drawn on on the workspace as depicted (read: no tactile feedback!) how is this supposed to be accomplished? Wouldn't it be easier to go straight to voice recognition?

Huh. I can see the handwriting-input stylus catching on, but if you need a surface the size of a keyboard to use the virtual keyboard on, then there's little reason not to have the tactile feedback of a real one. An interesting concept, sure, but I'm gonna wait until they interface this with that weird Microsoft patent that could let you walk around tapping on various parts of your own body to call functions and such.

I like the "monitor" if that's what you can call it. It'd be nice, if it was easily scalable, one day you have a 14'' and another day you have a 56''.

the future monitor i really want to see is those clear glass ones where you can have a transparent image turn off the pixels and just look thru the monitor...if you had it clean enough and a transparent wallpaper, the icons would look like theyre floating
