Seen it on a larger picture, that came from "Autobild", some german webpage on cars.

Here is the front, and this is the rear from that article. Alot of speculation say its fake. look at the driver side mirror, looks way out of place.

Meanwhile, take a look at this new picture. There is still alot of padding, but you can sorta get a feel for the lines.

EDIT: My speculation? Its fake. I've been looking at alot of the offical real-spy pictures, with all the padding and junk, and there are some very obvious features missing from the spy shots. 3rd brakelight is in a different location, the side triangle windows are missing, and the grill looks a bit different (appears to be oval in spy shots, not this rx-8-like grill.).

Meanwhile, I believe this will be closer to actual production than the one linked here. Not trying to crap your thread, its just my opinion, and I could be wrong .

The pic looks like a photchopped RX-8 to me. That's just at a glance though.

Has anything definite been released about the next-gen Miata specs-wise?

Wouldn't it be kinda bad to pretty much totally block that front intake with a license plate in that spot (they probably have to, but still couldn't that cause problems with airflow to the radiator?).

The new Miata is going to look pretty similar to the RX-8.

My question is, where's the new RX-7?

The magazine pics look like chops to me... just like how those new WRX pics were chops (and they got published in magazines too :roll: ).

edit: the RX-8 is the new RX-7. Love it or leave it

I was thinking the whole thing was a photoshop job... convienently preformed on a magazine not in the U.S. so it would be harder to verify.

But then again, maybe its for real...
