Looks like a fuggin' '03 Corolla. Take a look at the Corolla pics in the thread:

that's a VW?

the company is basically suiciding itself. Gone were the days of quality, now are the semi-unique designs.

Now they're just absolute crap in both looks AND quality.

I think that the W8 Passat was the beginning of the end:D

I only see women driving Jettas anyway;) 9/10 times I see a Jetta, it's driven by a teenage to college-aged woman.

Yes little fanboy, we value more in cars than just a label.

Oh, btw, I've owned a GTi, and I loved it. So don't jump all over my nuts.

Truth be told, i've never been all that fond of the Jetta styling so this picture is of little concern to me. The GTI/Golf V looks like a great car to me, and that is all that matters because I would never consider a Jetta anyway.

Also, who really cares if it looks like a Corolla? Oh no! VW took some design cues from one of the top selling cars for Toyota in North America. What a bunch of fools!

I dunno about cues. I think it's more like they copied it.

They should have stolen Toyota's build quality/reliability receipe instead of stealing the looks from a boring-a$$ Corollas. The Corolla is about as frumpy as a week old loaf of bread left on the counter to get all hard and dry.

VW's have always been known for their distinctive styling; now they've settled for copying one of the most BORING cars in existence.

Yea, that's pretty accurate.

That's what I was thinking. Another bland new car with no personality. I mean it seems that all the new cars look EXACTLY THE FVCKING SAME. Gah, how boring. At least the previous generation VDubs looked somewhat distinctive. That car is just another "made-in-the-mold" lemming-machine.

I'm just not seeing the Civic. The Corolla is all there from the front-end to the doors to the high belt-line and roof.

It's probably not wise to make any judgements based on that 1 awful image. As if that will stop anyone...

That one "awful" image as you call it is pretty damned good. Even the VWvortex staffers acknowledge that it is 99% accurate. If you can't get an idea of what the car looks like from that image, get your eyes checked ;)
