All new interior, revised exterior, 993 style headlamps, revised suspension geometry, more safety equipment, double clutch ala DSG, optional 6-speed Tiptronic. It's a new 911 alright

I immediately notice that the headlights are much simpler, just a simple circle now instead of the wild design they had before. I like both, so it's not an issue either way.

I like the 996 better.

I'm really undecided. The 997 harkens back to the 911s of yore, and makes it looks smaller and simpler, but the 996 looks faster and sportier. I'll take one of each!

Hey - I saw one yesterday. Seriously. I must have been undergoing cold weather testing. There was a fleet of Porsches with a VW Toureg as support with a crapload of spare tires on the roof.

I can't believe they are calling it blander. Those headlights are beautiful. The prev gen headlights, with the little piece of triangle, suck. UGLY.
