Well, if EB's pricing structure holds, Xbox 360, and I assume PS3 games, will cost 59.99 at the least. All of the games listed right now are at that price, and since these are confirmed launch titles, it more then likely will turn out to be true. I guess Warren Spector and those at GDC this year were right, that next gen console games would be 60 to 70 dollars a piece. This is outrageous seeing as how the consoles themselves make programming the games this difficult and a game apparently isn't good if it isn't photo realistic. So for those saying the death of PC gaming, which generally runs around 40 dollars for new titles and the games drop to 30 pretty quickly, I say this will keep it going for more then a little while. Now I know there is a news item on all this mess, but seeing as how consoles only really play games and cost 300 to 400, and games are now 60 to 70, is it really as cost effective as a PC for 1k that can do considerably more then a console and games that run 20 to 40 (50 for big titles, but Fry's here in Austin has sales on PC games weekly)?
