So the RAZR V3?
What about this:
Motorola SLVR
Big features and tons of style, packed into an ultra-thin tri-band phone.

No 850 means it gets crappy reception in many areas if you have cingular, I have a moto v80 and how i wish i had 850 sometimes. Theres just nothing out there that catches my eye, v3 is the same phone but its super slim, i like my auto-swivel auction better.

Okay, but is there one phone that clearly out does the rest, with the best camera, etc?

Not on this continent, and not on this continent's piss-poor networks. We get crap, and virtually all crap was created equal

I have a K750i with Cingular...no problems with it at all. Not having 850 hasn't caused a problem for me @ all. I do travel a lot too...
I just got a V635, which is quad band. Not a bad phone so far...

Whats the V635 like? I have a V600 thats chugging along (it took a couple hard hits to the floor, its getting ready to go to the big cell phone tower in the sky) and I'm looking for a good replacement

Expensive fashion phone w/no current features (just like the RAZR), no EDGE, no expandable memory, but if you want a phone that looks good, go for it, its 800 bucks imported tho. I can't stand Nokia Series 40 phones, the screens are waaaaay to small, and 128x128 barely cuts it for IM icons people.

ohhh ohh I have the v635. I had a v551 before that and it broke and my friend has a v600 so I have a good basis for a comparison. Its nice, its basically the same thing as my v551 with a few added features. It has a transflash slot, an external screen, a 1mp camera, and a flash (which also serves as a handy light). Also it plays mp3s (but not well) and has an upgraded speakerphone. I noticed the internal speaker sounded a lot louder than my v551.
I think it makes a great replacement for my broken v551, but there's no need to upgrade from a working v600. The v600 has almost all the same features, and if you need the external screen or the camera there are other, better phones that have that function.

Its the EDGE (faster data than GPRS) and expandable memory I need, I've grown to love the V series of phones, the color screen and camera are just icing on the cake. My V600 "barely" works, the external LCD buggers out alot, and it drops a helluva lot of calls, did you get your V635 off eBay or from a website?
