Next gen $300 cards?

Potential specs for the 6800:

Only 12 pipes, slow core, and only 128 mb of DDR1 memory. I can't see this being much better than the 9800 XT.

And ATI's $300 card is supposedly 8 pipeline.

Another reason for me to stick with my 9800 Pro. Call me when the X800 Pro hits $200-$225
