It's a Celeron D (can't remember which & won't POST so can't tell much about this computer)

Tested w/ new PSU (ok)
Tested w/ new RAM (ok)
Pulled everything down to CPU, RAM and Video & still nuttin'.

It had no speaker hooked up so I hooked up a little speaker that's separate but no beeps at all. (Even flipped the plug around in case I had it backwards but nuttin')

Only indicator at all is that when I power up, the CD drives keep powering up every few seconds which seems like a good indicator of something wrong, I just dunno what.

Re-reading my post the 'ok' part sure is confusing. LOL!!!

What I meant to say was that there was no change. (New items were known-good)


New PSU was good for sure so sounds like motherboard. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Oh well!!

And it's a friggin' 'Gigabyte' board at that.
