These folks are so delusional, they still fight fights they lost from half a century ago. Must suck being so utterly irrelevant to reality as a rightie like Newt to pull this crap again.

Castro did his own ideology in. Right wingers kept him in power with their haterism, even when he is not even in power like now. LOL

Magnificent pander to Florida's Cuban population, who've dreamed of returning to Havana in glory, and indirectly to Florida's rednecks, who wish they would.

Win-win, for Newt.

"We will not tolerate four more years of this [Castro] regime,"
laaaaaawwwwwwwwwwls

When I think about all the sh*t in my life I don't like, the thing at the top of the list is always Fidel Castro. If only he was taken out of power we could finally heal as a world.

What an immoral, irresponsible, reckless, illegal person he is.

I'd be happy to see Cuba in better hands with democracy.

The way to get there isn't through the use of 'all of our means' to stir up violence and killing and assassination and whatever else he's doing.

The embargo should have ended long ago for trade and travel. Peace is a good thing.

This is one more reason Gingrich shouldn't even be a real candidate.

The US has a history of anti-democratic policies and supporting dictators for our interests, since before Castro there - there's a reason Castro was popular to revolt.

We committed massive terrorism against Cuba in addition to the dozens of assassination attempts.

Gingrich should be repudiated by both major parties for this warmongering.

Newt is officially bought and paid for by Sheldon Adelson, I imagine he's going to overthrow whoever he's told to overthrow, regardless of whether they're living or dead.

Did he state Fidel or Castro or the regime?

The article makes a lot of implications but no exact statement.

From what the OP title is - there is not an issue. Statement is completely correct.

After Cuba can you guys please take Tahiti, Bora Bora, and the rest of the French Polynesia islands? Hawaii is nice and all, but its just not the same. :(

We Americans deserve better after all, and France isn't exactly running the FP all that well. I even volunteer as a settler/homesteader once you guys are done, shouldn't take more than a day or so.

They're already part of the world. USA is the only country they don't trade with. Cuban cigars are "special" in the US, but every other cigar store in the world sells them. I bought one at the local cigar store. It was pleasant. Cuba is also a popular tourist destination. My gf and her mom recently spent a week in Cuba. My brother and his gf have been to Cuba. Both of my parents plan to see Cuba as well.

Reminds me of my good friend Pablo in college. His father was some sort of government official from Guatemala who could send diplomatic type packages to Pablo that could not be searched. Lo and behold, Cuban cigars were always in there.

Yes, this is exactly what the US needs to turn the ship around...

What a pathetic attempt to pander before the Florida primary.
