Earth to Newt: Fidel is retired.

Magnificent pander to Florida's Cuban population, who've dreamed of returning to Havana in glory, and indirectly to Florida's rednecks, who wish they would.

Did he state Fidel or Castro or the regime?
The article makes a lot of implications but no exact statement.
From what the OP title is - there is not an issue. Statement is completely correct.

They're already part of the world. USA is the only country they don't trade with. Cuban cigars are "special" in the US, but every other cigar store in the world sells them. I bought one at the local cigar store. It was pleasant. Cuba is also a popular tourist destination. My gf and her mom recently spent a week in Cuba. My brother and his gf have been to Cuba. Both of my parents plan to see Cuba as well.Gingrich is a moron. News at 11.
It's time to end the embargo. Welcome Cuba back to the world.
