newspaper creation

for a project, I want to create a replica newspaper - let's say from the late 1800s - early 1900s.

would Word 2007 be adequate? or is there something better I should use?

I guess I'd have to go to kinko's to get it printed... any ideas on printing?

Ideally, I'd like to order just a reproduction of an old newspaper, but not sure where to find one.. also, i'm on a relatively short deadline.

Give this site a try. They have a 1-month subscription for $5.99 (and a 7-day free trial if that's all you need) that will let you view and print any of the archived newspapers in their database. I did a quick "trial" search and found many different newspapers in the time frame you mentioned. You'll have to do your own work to make the actual paper look aged (if you need that) but this site looks like it will let you reproduce original publications without having to recreate the layout and content yourself.
