Newshosting has 70 day retention in the works

We all know how long this will take them lol.

Remember the 40 day retention fiasco? Took them forever.

Came straight from Jason who works for Newshosting.

Brett hinted at it as well.

I don't remember. Please explain.

Newshosting said on their main page www.newshosting.com that they would be upgrading their retention to 40 days from 24 days it use to be. It took a good 3 to 6 months for this to happen finally.

I don't really care that much for THAT much retention. The current newshosting retention works fine for me

There are always things you didn't know you wanted till after the fact when it is 40 days or older.

Newshosting retention right now is only 33 to 35 days.

Didn't we ban max2, or someone like it, before, because they wouldn't stop talking about NG?

Well of course.

Another newsgroup provider will have this before newshosting.

For someone who so casually recites this "First rule of Newsgroups is you do not talk about newsgroups" moto you sure do a lot of yapping about it. Reminds me of that dude with the cop avatar not too long ago who eventually got banned for pushing newsgroups on people but all the while kept saying "Shhh! First rule, first rule!"
