newsgroups w/ outlook?

ok, i got it to load all the newsgroups and then display posts in a specified newsgroup, but I cant get it to post my message. There are fields for "news server", "Newsgroups", "cc", "subject", and then the message. What do I put into the "cc" field? When I leave it blank it says that I have not specified a sender, and if i hold my cursor over it, it says "Type recipients names blah blah..." What do I have to do to get it to send?

I recommend using groups.google.com (formerly Deja News) for all your newsgroup activity. If you want it built into your email/browser, try Mozilla or Netscape 7.x (based on Mozilla) - a much better solution IMO.

If you just want to subscribe to text newsgroups, use google, forget outlook. If you want access to files in the alt.binaries.* newsgroups, use Forte Agent. It'll hanle all the yenc encoding for you.
