It's a relatively different encoding method that's probably not natively supported in your reader.

It dont say where I can get yenc. You have a linky?

You get it by having a newsreader that supports yenc encoding.

Which means you will need the latest version of Agent (1.9.1) if that is what you were using.

NewsBinPro beta 4 also supports yenc encoding, and I'm sure there are a few other newsreaders that can, but I just can't think of any off the top of my head right now.

I linked to the official yenc site, which in turn links to mirrors, which in turn links to programs that you can use to decode yencoded messages, both readers and standalone utilities.

Someone mentioned Agent 1.9x. Yeah, the recent Agent releases natively supports yenc but if you're happier than a pig in mud with your current reader, grabbing one of the standalone utilities and doing a little legwork within your current reader is just as good. Your choice.
