Newsflash: St. Louis movie reviewer is flaming idiot

Here in St.Louis, on 550AM they have the Frank O. Pinion show, and every day he closes his show with a movie review from Reggie McDanial, who calls in from Denver. His ratings are given in ARDs (All Right 'Den), and the best score is 4 ARDs. His reviews are pretty on the mark almost all the time. Yesterday and today, he shattered my confidence in his ability as a movie critic.

Yesterday he reviewed Final Fantasy, and after calling it "new age" several times because it has 'Earph spirits' (yes, that's how he pronounces it), he gave it 2 ARDs.

Today he reviewed Legally Blonde, and after some general description, gave it 2.5 ARDs.

Yes, that's right. He rated Legally Blonde HIGHER than Final Fantasy.

Legally blonde actually looks pretty funny. It's not the highest quality of filmmaking, but it could be entertaining and ultimately that's what really matters.
