Side-by-side video of the original vs the new mod

To anyone who hasn't heard of this before, it's a fan-made mod that recreates the entire Fallout 2 game in first person using the Fallout 4 engine.

I started with Fallout 3 but watched my buddy play bits and pieces of the first two games so I don't have the nostalgic connection to this project as many people but as a fan of the Fallout universe, I've been watching this for a while. It's still pretty far off from completion but it's definitely gaining a lot of traction and with the team they have now, it doesn't seem like we'll have to wait too long before we can get our hands on this.
 
Very cool way to get folks that came in with Bethesda's series to get some of the lore and form a connection with the old Black Isle Studios games without having to get into the CRPG roots of the series.

I've played the ever loving hell out of FO1/2 back in the day so I'm not looking for a FPS reintroduction to the series, but it will be a nice gateway for the uninitiated.
