ok, I know all news magazines/etc are tainted at least to some degree but is there one that is somewhat less tainted or more nuetral? I'd like to keep up with current events more than i do now (which is not at all) and i like to read magazines.. so what should I subscribe to? Something weekly would be prefered.. and yes I realize the news would be old.. but its better than getting the news through Maxim/FHM like i do now.
 
i just bought a subscription to TIME. i'd suggest the same. I think im getting like 89 issues for 29.99$ not bad.

I personally like Time and while usually dry The Economist, however, I have found that the BBC and other british news sources tend to shift away from the "American" POV. New Scientist is good for Science news (british publication with US print, that is usually different.

I get lots of magazines, but most have a slant to one way or another.....the appeal to a certain demographic, and the mag solicits them....I've been looking but its rather hard to find a non partisan magazine.
 
Sweet.. I tried The Week for $32/yr. This is the first time in 5 years I've paid for a sub.. got all those free mens magazines, popular science.. etc..
