From our good friends over at www.ocworkbench.com

http://www.ocworkbench.com/2004/guides/unlockbartonwk43/unlockbartonwk43-1.htm

[please dont chew me out for posting a link to another website if you notice that im a moderator on their forums in the Overclocking/Gadgets/Chaintech/Games and Consoles sections. I know users on smaller sites get pissed about that, thinking people are trying to steal their users.]

I think this is a worthwhile contribution.

Someone ought to give this a shot!

This is why I always laugh at people who say stuff like, "Oh no! AMD locked their processors, we are doomed!!!"

My feeling is that you would have to be pretty hardcore and/or confident you could do all of that properly!!! But like adams828 said, its nice to see that their is a workaround if you really want to adjust the multiplier.

It seems like it is also going to be very dependent on mobo chipset as well. Doubt it will work with my MPX mobo.
