There's more to a video card than just FPS scores. Also 3dfx's new drivers boost perfromance quite a lot and go a long way to narrow the gap.

The Radeon 32DDR is about the same price or even cheaper than both the GTS and V5 and nobody was in a hurry to vote it video card of the year.
