newly installed Audigy 2 - zero sound

Just took my Audigy 1 out and put in a new Audigy 2 ZS. Before I put the new one in, I uninstaled all the Audigy 1 drivers.. put the new one in, no sounds, just some static. Tried to fidle around in the settings, couldnt figure it out. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: im ony getting static from the "center" speaker of my 5.1's... wierd.

you did update all of your new card's drivers right?

From the Creative site? no. i shouldnt have to... I am installed new HD's so we'll see if that help - fresh install of windows.
