Newly built computer, nothing coming up on screen, troubleshooting

I just built this computer and the I connected to a TV via HDMI cable and the TV is not getting a signal. Here are the specs; Intel Xeon E5-1620 V3 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler, MSI X99S SLI Plus ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard, Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory, Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB Video Card and a Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply.
Does anyone have thoughts on the problem. I appreciate any help, thank you.
 
What operating system?

Right click on the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution". Is your TV shown alongside your monitor? (Do you have a monitor?)
