newly built comp doesnt work

im having a problem with a comp that i just built. Im working with a Fatal1ty AN8-SLI, a AMD 64 +3500, x2 512g kingston ram, a 120g western digital hd, a MSI NX6800 GT, a 450 watt xclio psu. It seems to install windows xp really slowly for a brand new comp. and once its installed the drivers dont want to work. i tried to get it off of the internet. Once xp is installed the comp runs really slowly, i tried to reset the cmos. but since its a brand new comp i dont understand whats going on. also im getting the blue screen and memory dump. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

What version of Kingston? Did you run Memtest86 for about one day to check for problem?

You should also wipe the hard drive and reload windows. Normally, Windows will not have the chipset, USB, and audio drivers. There are usually included in the bundled CD.

I would check to see if everything is connected correctly.

But the BIGGEST thing I'd be checking out is the BIOS tuturial thingy on rojakpot.com

Before turning on my machine, I spent hours looking at all the various BIOS settings for my motherboard. I read my manual and spent time "googling" everything that was in there. I'm now able to use Win98SE and WinXP Pro on the same Asus A7V600-X motherboard. 😉
