Welp....Got a new job at a school district and I was wondering what you guys use for trade magazines and such.. Unfortunately this IT department has been run into the ground and runs like shit. In other words I have no good resources at the moment and must do most of my troubleshooting by the seat of my pants.

Any technical resources that are free (I know, im dealing with Apple here) that you guys know of would be awesome.

Well, i certainly haven't found any useful magazines yet for Macs. MacWorld for example just sort of rehashes the same stories over and over again, interspersed with a review of whatever new system Apple has just unveiled (Hint: It's faster than what it replaced).

Just try the systems out, get a feel for them, don't be too worried about breaking them if they are running the latest OS X.

Bummer! I've been hacking at the Macs for about a month and a half now...I have access to GSX for manuals, repairs and stuff and have been doing rollouts and reimages pretty well so far. I guess if there are no good trade mags out there how about your favorite web pages?

I don't support Macs professionally for the most part, but I typically browse MacNN and AppleInsider for general info. Their forums are helpful too.
