AMD Ryzen 5 5500 - Ryzen 5 5000 Series 6-Core Socket AM4 65W Desktop Processor - 100-100000457BOX and ASRock Phantom Gaming D Radeon RX 6500 XT Video Card RX6500XT PGD 4GO $363.99 (save $20)

Not a bad combo to save a few bucks on a budget rig with a 6C CPU + GPU.

Do note that this GPU is PCI-E 4.0 x4, and the CPU is only PCI-E 3.0.

Oh man, that’s gross. I knew they cut cache on the 5500 but didn’t realize it is also only PCIe 3. Booo.

I wouldn’t buy this combo of parts new at this point. 6500xt breathes so much better on PCIe 4 :/

It's worse than that, though. The chipset they based the 6500XT on was intended for use in a laptop, paired with an APU, so the APU could handle special GPU features like video encoding/decoding - so the 6500XT lacks some basic features, as well. Ideally, you'd really not want to build a system without a capable APU if you planned on using the 6500XT.

I thought that you didn't post Newegg combos, Larry? :)

This one doesn't look terrible, though.
