Newest Win7 build?

I downloaded the Win7 64 bit RC1 when it was released. Ben running pretty good for ~3 months. Since then I have seen newer builds that have been released but didn't really look into them because I didn't want to reinstall windows again. Well, my mobo died so I ordered a new one and will have to reinstall within a week or so.

Should I just install the original RC1 or try to find one of the "newer" builds? Anyone know what the latest is?

Thanks.

The latest build is the final one, which was released a few days ago. If you have access to MSDN or TechNet you can get a copy, otherwise you'll probably need to wait until October like the rest of us.

No, I meant the RC1 that was released in June. The free one. Ever since then I've seen newer builds come out every once in a while.

I plan on buying it in Oct. because it has been fine on my machine but I wanted to go ahead and put the newest version of the one that will expire.

The Windows 7 RC1 is the most recenty official one released. Like MrChad said, unless you have access to TechNet or MSDN, you will have to go with the RC1 until October.

The public release candidate from June is the same. The newer builds are leaked copies that were never intended for public release.
